THE AWARD
We are proud to announce that exactly in this occasion we added three prizes to our medal collection, but the most important one was achieved by one of our “M-USE” bottles: our Sparkling Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC “M-use” won the TOP GOLD medal at the competition obtaining a score of 97/100. The Sparkling M-use 100% Pinot Grigio DOC is an organic and vegan certified sparkling wine, straw yellow in colour and with a pleasant floral fragrance and yeast scents.

THE COMPETITION
The International Organic Wine Award is a competition born in 2009 and became one of the main quality competitions in the organic wine sector. The reason: the participants appreciate the results transparency and trust the proficiency of the panel of judges.
The tasting is managed by the sensory expert Martin Darting, who is the developer of the PAR® evaluation system. The PAR word is an acronym that stands for:
P: product (origin, terrorir, grape variety…)
A: analysis ( sensory and organoleptic)
R: ranking (evaluation of A in relation to P)
The panel of judges, divided into groups of two people, consists of “PAR® Certified Master” evaluating the wine both individually and in group. In this way each candidate will receive a transparent and objective evaluation of the sensory and enological properties of their wine. Everything is evaluated in relation to the originality, the origin and the kind of production: this is a skill that qualified jury members learn through recurring trainings. The result is a series of evaluations that are useful not only from a marketing point of view, but also they are a support for the retailers specialized in consultation and an help for the qualitative management of the vineyards.
